I'm always looking for new ways to layer. With trends moving away from the "streetstyle" we all expect and towards a chicer more minimal air, it's forcing us to take something very simple and make it our own. Insert an experimental play with layering. I added a straight-line leather tunic over this breezy crepe dress. The lines still maintain that minimal feel but the different structure and materials begin that "making it my own" element. I added some fun fringe boots, gold detail choker, and slouchy boyfriend jacket to give it an easier, rocker feel that ultimately feels like me :)

London Calling

Feeling inspired while visiting London (one of the first cities that sparked an exploration into my personal style), I harnessed my inner tomboy with flecks of British rock and roll to create this look. Classic striped buttondown loosely tucked into supersoft and baggy boyfriend jeans start an outfit that's effortless and comfy. A bit of sex and rock&roll is added in with a leather moto jacket, snakeskin boots, and peek of black bralette. The combination gives you that “cool London girl look” that can take you from a day shopping on Oxford Street to an epic evening at Sketch. Disproportions

We all know I love and good crop top and some leather. The problem for most is putting the two together while still leaving room for a little imagination. What I loved about VEDA's resort collection was how the pieces were structural yet sexy, how I was able to pair a bustier and all leather while still looking elevated. The change in seasons always has me looking for the perfect fall/winter coat. This Lafayette Jacket from VEDA had me completely hooked. Leather and shearling are among the top necessities and all the rage for your cold weather wardrobe. If you know me, I love anything oversized, so the shape and moto feel of this jacket (with the combintation of super soft leather/shearling) made it the total package.

When I'm wearing a really awesome coat, I like to keep the rest of the outfit chic and minimal. Black, skinny leather pants and white, crepe top keep clean lines and the pop in the red kitten heel add a bit of flavor. Check out the links above to shop my look and find your perfect coat.
