We all know I love to mix a little uptown with a little downtown. So when I spotted these gold pants, I instantly thought of my adidas tee. It adds a nice contrast to dress down the pants and these amazing sneakers add just the perfect bit of fun to it all. I might be beating a dead horse, but I can never get enough of mixing up my style. I can go full tomboy and full girly, but my favorite place is somewhere in the middle. A little uptown-- pleated "school girlish" skirt and sexy, sky-high pointed pump paired with a little downtown-- oversized, graphic tee and heavy metal watch. The perfect middle ground. Try pairing one of your more casual tops with elevated bottoms or vice versa for a nice mix of girly/tomboy, uptown/downtown.
