Won Hundred Vest Dress (similar or here) / Platforms / Topshop Socks / Circle Earring

With some time off from work, I figured I owed you one too many blog posts. So better late than never, here are some gems from when it was warm in NY. To sunny days days ahead...

I love anything with an architectural quality to it and so I naturally fell quickly in love with this structured "vest-dress" by Scandinavian favorite, Won Hundred. The piece works as a dress, like I did here, or open and perhaps paired with a raw-edged straight leg jean and a thin turtleneck. I mixed up the accessorizing by adding a chunky plum platform and rose-colored socks. Like to keep the eye searching a bit, no? Finished with a geometric drop earring and structural backdrop, the look ironically rounds out just perfectly. Shop the links above and more to come :)

A New Flare

Ribbed Sleeveless Turtleneck / Long Sleeve Crop Top / Alexa Chung X AG Jeans / Tibi Mules / Handmade Square Ring / Outlette Rings

I immediately fell in love when I discovered these cropped flared jeans from Alexa Chung's collaboration with AG Jeans. An updated shape from the typical flare, these high-waisteds are definitely a new favorite for spring. I kept the look clean with what appears to be a black & white top but is actually a layered turtleneck and crop top! I chose structural mules finish things off, but these jeans would also be great with platforms or a classic pump. Shop my look above and try out the new flare.

Vintage London Fog Trench / Merona Cardi / Phillip Lim for Target Dress / Frye Boots

The trench. One of my favorites that has never gone out of style. Recently too with the rise of utility, the trench is back and bigger than ever. This London Fog was one of my top coats I found in the back of my grandmother's closet that wonderful day. Literally has tested time, both physically and in the style sense. The shape and length flatter and go with just about anything. I decided to pair mine with this Phillip Lim for Target dress that has his signature structural quality to it and my tried and true Frye knee high boots (another trend back around for fall/winter). Don't miss this closet staple (or full look) and shop the links above :)
