A Softer Side

Endless Rose Top / Blank NYC Overalls / Burton Platforms (similar) / Clo Intimo Bra / Vintage Watch / Gorjana Necklace and Wanderlust & Co Ring via Rocksbox/ Outlette, Handmade, and Vintage Rings

You may not have guessed that there’s a softer side to overalls, but I’m here to tell you there is! While sometimes my styling airs more towards a tomboy personality, there are flecks of femininity that I love to play up on occasion. Taking overalls and turning them into a surprisingly girly look is just the thing. By pairing this delicate “lacey” white top and sky high 70s platforms, a new element is brought to the overall: a sweeter side with a touch of vintage flair.  Shop the links above to bring a dash of girl to your overalls!

20s Drop Me

Shareen Vintage Dress / Prabal Gurung for Target Sandals

Throw on some Frank Sinatra and I'm ready to be in full swing. I loved the very 20s silhouette of this dress with the drop waist and the pleated skirt. I'm a sucker for a shifty "sack dress" if you will, and the little details and impeccable tailoring made it that much better. A great vintage look to take you from work to your favorite speakeasy on the LES.

Your Perfect Maxi Dress

Vintage and Modern Inspiration

[gallery type="rectangular" ids="432,431,433"]

I fell in love with these vintage and modern photos of maxi dresses that I found on Pinterest. Perhaps my "inner 70s love child" is breaking through, but there's something about these pictures that needed to be shared! While it's great to have a basic black maxi dress, I challenge you use these photos as inspiration to branch out. Look for different shapes, patterns, fabrics that strike your fancy. I am OBSESSED with the blue maxis above and still have it on my list to find one similar. The Chloe collection favors the photo above, but not everyone has that kind of money to burn (and I'm quite a bargain hunter). SOOO, I have provided some links below for you to explore and find your perfect maxi dress. Would love to hear/see your suggestions as well! Happy 70s vibes :)
