I’m deeming this week “San Diego Week” as I give you guys an inside look at some of my favorite OOTDs from my trip last month and must-see spots if you’re looking to visit. I may be a March baby but I live for sunshine and summer. San Diego was channeling every bit of it. Suburban but quaint, the colors of the buildings, the cliffs on the beach, and the plants… I have this thing with them and they were unlike anything I've ever seen! The weather had me seriously ready for summer and in real denial when I landed back on the East Coast.

 I was utterly obsessed with this area of San Diego called La Jolla. Such a beach town and the views were breathtaking. Near the spot where this was shot was the most beautiful parks, trees, and a beach full of seals. They smelled horrible but were such a sight.

Sea mammals aside, it’s only fitting that I start with my favorite suit of the trip on the cliffs of La Jolla. We all know I’m a sucker for one pieces and I loved the clean lines coupled with the plunging neckline and strap detail on this Solid + Striped gem. Perfect for us less-endowed ladies, this suit ups the sex appeal while still being classic (and classy for that matter). Add this one piece + La Jolla to your list for your next San Diego getaway.

It's never "too late" to buy a swimsuit. Be an optimist. People are saying "summer is over" but I beg to differ. Who knows, maybe you'll be hitting a tropical island in October and visiting the Aussies in December. Cue Triangl swim. I fell in love with their use of neoprene and diverse colors and shapes. I opted for this bohemian inspired suit in this muted orange color I've been finding myself drawn to lately! There's something about summertime that just livens everyone's spirits. Whether it's the extra dose of vitamin d or the excuse to wear denim cutoffs everyday, you can tell the people in the streets (or the beach for that matter) are happier.

With summer comes the search for that perfect, new bathingsuit. I always gravitate towards high-waisted bikinis, but recently, I have been on the look out for an amazing one piece.  This flamingo number by Wildfox instantly spoke to me. It's fun, quirky, summery, and puts a smile on your face. After Wildfox's show at Miami Swim Week yesterday, I can't wait to see what's in the next batch, too!
