Won Hundred Coat, Shirt (or here), Pant / Grenson Oxford / Cambridge Satchel Bag
I think I've always had a little tomboy in me since age 6 (envision oversized tshirts, soccer shorts, and Adidas slides). So it comes as no surprise that ever since menswears became a thing, I've been drawn to it. The comfort and ease contrasted with strong design and attention to detail makes for a perfect dressing equation. I mixed women's and men's pieces from Won Hundred to create this "borrowed from the boys" NYFW look. And you can't truly have that menswear look without an impeccably structured bag. I found my closet lacking that perfect black bag and Cambridge Satchel came to the rescue with customization that aired on Vuitton rather than Pulitzer (thank god).
Last but not least, I wouldn't be the menswear-loving shoe whore I am without having an affair with a Brit shoe brand whose roots date back to 1866. UK original, Grenson, has been a long time favorite of mine, crafting the most beautiful leather shoes (with amazing platforms I might add) for 150 years. I was able to get a first hand look at their first overseas shop that's nestled on one of my favorite streets in one of the best neighborhoods in NYC, Elizabeth Street, SoHo. The shop's pristine architecture and design mirrors its product in the most fitting way. Sleek wood panels, industrial notes, and a smoky but beautiful scent welcomes you into a room full of hand-crafted oxfords, loafers, and boots. Need I say more?
