Aeron Top (similar)/ Jill Stuart Sweater (similar) / By Malene Birger Skirt / Won Hundred Mule

I'm typically a tomboy at heart, but everyone once in a while I like to feel pretty :) In my personal opinion, there's nothing quite as "womanly" as a low-slung, cut-on-the-bias skirt that hugs your hips just so and flows perfectly when it catches the breeze. By Malene Birger or MBM as I like to call it makes a beautiful skirt that is just that in a delicious creamy color with a touch of textured detail. In true natural form, I paired the skirt with equally neutral colors. A flowy but sculpted button down layered over a ribbed sweater continues to add different levels of texture and tonal colors. Finished with the most amazing block heel mules and a good cup of tea, it was a wonderfully girly day.

Aeron Top / Vince Cardigan / Joseph Trouser / Vince Mule / SmithLab Scarf

As I transition into summer, my wardrobe tends to slowly turn completely white. It's the failproof summer "color" and looks great in every fabric and silhouette. Staying true to my love for minimalism, I love playing with sculptural shapes, breezy notes, and attention to detail. The wrap-like form of this tank finished with raw edge texture, the oversized crepe pants that puddle perfectly at the ground, and the sheer sweater that drapes and adds that extra comfort level... Each piece is perfectly minimal, yet unique in its own way. Finished with my favorite long silk scarf and chunky heel sandal, it's a perfect summer look that works for drinks and oysters at Grand Banks to brunch and vintage shopping in the West Village.

Won Hundred Top and Skirt / Grenson Loafer / OneSixOne Clutch / Pared Sunnies

Since moving to New York just three years ago, black ws the first "color" that became a big part of my wardrobe. Next was neutrals. Camels, taupes, pale pinks, caramels, and everything everything in between became all that I was craving. Perhaps it was their rise in the runways or just the fact that any look centered around neutrals is instantly 10 times chicer then the outfit next to it. I love mixing nudes with denim or as a head to toe look like I did here. Danish favorite, Won Hundred, is always a sure fit for chic minimalism. I paired this clean Kimono-inspired silk top with an asymmetrical midi skirt and equally structural clutch. To mix it up a bit I added my favorite chunky, tassel loafers and oversized sunnies. The whole look is completely neutral, characterized by clean lines and with a few fun bits thrown in. Shop the links above to get my look and add these neutral tones to your transitional spring palette.

Tess Giberson Sweater / Ganni Pant / Matt Bernson Loafer / Kiliwatch Paris Vintage Jacket (similar)

We all know about my obsession with knitwear, PJ dressing, and neutrals. So when I combine all three (even when it's freezing), it's an amazing mix. I'm particular about fabrics in these categories because they can make or break the outfit both visually and texturally. Each piece I'm wearing in the look above is close to a 10/10 on the comfort level. The fabrics, along with being cozy, also have beautiful texture. The designs are clean but unique. An outfit like this is perfect for everything from a day of running errands when all you want to do is sleep or a weekend brunch when all you really want to wear is (real) pajamas. Shop the links above to get my cozy look from some of my favorite boutique brands.

Vintage Jacket / Lands End Sweater / Old Navy Distressed Denim / Forever 21 Black Skinnies / Birkenstocks  / Converse

With trends and styles constantly evolving, there are a few key pieces I fall back on that never seem to let me down: thick and cozy sweaters, black skinnies, and Converse. Put together or sprinkled in with other pieces "of the moment", these classics have tested time and can be styled in so many different ways. For this post, I wore them all together in a very straight forward but stylish way and then a bit more normcore with distressed/relaxed skinnies, Birks, and a vintage cocoon jacket. No matter which way you go, these are some closet staples that you definitely need!
