Most people have no clue that New York has beaches! And I don't know what I'd do without them! I grew up driving to NY every summer for a family reunion of sorts, and it always involved beaching and boating! Since age 6, the waters of Long Island have transformed from a playground to a place of tranquility. Now working in the city (and in the fashion industry no less), heading to my aunt's little house on the canal is truly my therapy. It's the perfect place to unwind and relax in the summer.
