After collaborating with the lovely ladies of Diesel Black Gold for my beachy denim shoot, I was thrilled to be able to experience the new collection in person at their Spring/Summer 2016 presentation. Located in an amazingly raw and deconstructed building in the heart of the Financial District, it set the perfect backdrop for a runway full of leather, patchwork, and badass vibes. The collection was said to be inspired by a woman wearing a man’s shirt as a dress… sign me up! Tomboy vibes with an edge of sex appeal. Deep side parts, slicked hair, smokey eyes, and strong walks, the models were the cherry on top of that rocker chic sundae.
