Amarcord Vintage: Christian Dior Dress / Carlos Falchi Clutch / Bruno Magli Peep Toe Pumps
I remember it like it was yesterday... walking into Amarcord in Williamsburg and being greeted by the friendliest Italian man, Marco. It was like I was 5 again playing dress up with the most beautiful clothes. Marco and I basically had a whole styling session that day, and from then on, I was hooked.
Patti Bordoni and Marco Liotta started Amarcord Vintage Fashion in 2000 with a desire to bring upscale European womenswear, menswear, and accessories to the modern fashion world. With vintage pieces anywhere from the 90s back to the Victorian era, the exclusive and exquisite selection is one for the books. What I also love about Amarcord is the contagious passion for fashion you get as soon as you walk through door. Marco and his team can tell you anything and everything about each piece and assist you in envisioning and creating any outfit in the store. The knowledge and culture behind the clothes as well as the people of Amarcord make it worth going back again and again…not to mention the epic merchandise of course :)
