I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed Amsterdam. It is SUCH A CUTE CITY and pretty romantic actually! I found myself missing my beau during my time there. The old school architecture, flowers everywhere, biking, canals, there was a certain charm about it all. If you're visiting soon, my top three picks include renting a paddleboat, vintage shopping, and visiting the Anne Frank House. All of my favorites are below but these three are musts!
MUSTS:
- Wander & enjoy, because it's the cutest city
- Paddleboat (or "canal boat") rental & bring a picnic from Stach
TOURISTY BUT NECESSARY:
- Anne Frank House
- Rijks Museum
- IAmsterdam Sign -- I found this website to be super helpful too :)
VINTAGE SHOPPING
DRINKING & EATING
- Necessary purchase anywhere (even the supermarket) -- A Stroopwafel
- A damn good margarita -- Snappers
- Soup & Toasties -- Ivy & Bros
- Breakfast -- Omelegg
- Coffee Shops if you're into it ;)
